Conversation with Reverend Crystal Paul-Watson on Spiritual Growth, Practice in a Changing World!

The Reverend Crystal S. Paul-Watson became pastor at United Methodist Church of Hartford on August 1, 2020. She previously served as pastor both at New Milford-Edenville UMC (2014-2020) and Grace UMC (2018-2020) in Orange County, NY. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership, and a Master of Divinity degree.

Pastor Crystal was raised in a large, musical Christian family, fifth oldest of eleven siblings. She preached her first sermon at the age of 14 at a major conference in Chicago. Soon after receiving her Bachelor's degree, while teaching English at an inner city Junior High, she also served as a Youth Pastor and then Associate Pastor at an area church. She has been the lead administrator of family Christian programs and church-held community events, and participated in foreign mission programs...

She loves nature, family time, the arts (music, visual arts, and liturgical dance.) Pastor Crystal is married to The Reverend Derrick Watson and is mother to Zyanna Rain.
