Round Table Conversation with Yvonne Patricia Mcgregor. While talking about her 98-year old mother, Yvonne stated:

"Her strength was in her gentleness, ... and her grace was in being non-judgmental." Absolutely beautiful!

Yvonne talked about being the example so that her children could relate to her guidance. She taught them about having boundaries and keeping them focused on what they wanted to achieve.

Practitioner (2yrs.) of The Art of Tai Chi

word, Gospel Music listener, and Prayer warrior!

Proudest Achievements:

Nurturing/Raising 5 wonderful accomplished, professional, loving adult children.

Grandmother of 6 children...loves of my life.

Following my dreams of earning my undergraduate degree in Communications, and Postgraduate

Certification in Museum Studies-Education, while raising children and working full-time.

Historian (12yrs.) of 3rd oldest Congregational Church in America. Est. 1819 by free and enslaved Africans. Negotiating Loan of Historic Bible for new Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture currently on exhibit in the Slavery to Freedom Gallery.

Relocating from CT to Fl. At 68 years old. Creating a new life for myself on my own terms. At 70 learning the art of self-defense through Tai Chi.

At 72 years old falling in love again!

Job 8:7 (esv) ...and though your beginning was small, your latter days will be great.

Her spirituality embraces different forms of practice in order to get closer to the Divine.

This conversation flowed naturally, authentically as we talked for an hour, and with additional reflection from some members.
